POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Margaret 'Margie' Tkazyik, of Poughkeepsie, died of pancreatic cancer Dec. 22. She was 60.
Tkayzik was born May 8, 1955, in Brooklyn, to Helen and John Collins, graduating from Dutchess Community College.
She worked as an assistant manager at Bankers Trust, the Vice President of Rhinebeck Electric, a business manager at Simmons Fabricating Service and as a payroll clerk for the Town of Poughkeepsie.
Tkayzik was predeceased by her mother and brother James Collins.
She is is survived by her husband Frank; two children, Frank Tkazyik and his wife Catherine and daughter Laura Briehof and husband Jarrod; three granddaughters; her father; sister Kathy Clarke and her husband Kevin, sister Lori Hedrick and husband Ernie, brother John Collins, brother Joe Collins and his wife Barbara; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces; and a grandnephew.
Sweet's Funeral Home in Hyde Park handled the arrangements.
