POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Lynne A. Stark, a resident of Poughkeepsie, died Thursday, Jan. 21. She was 68.
Stark graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High School and Hudson River State Hospital as a registered nurse pursuing a career at Vassar Brothers Medical Center and St. Francis Hospital.
She is survived by her sons Daniel M. Stark Jr., John Stark and his wife Kim, Jim Stark and his wife Rose; seven grandchildren; a brother Bob Semp and his wife Patti; a sister Elena McCullom and her husband Doug; brothers-in-law David Stark and his wife Courtnea and Thomas Schaper, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.She was predeceased by her husband Daniel M. Stark; a sister-in-law Linda Schaper; and a nephew Steven Stark.
Family and friends are invited to meet and greet at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 30 at the New Hackensack Reformed Church, 1580 Route 376 Wappinger’s Falls.
A memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Keith W. Tamlyn officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the New Hackensack Reformed Church or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Cancer Society.
