BEACON, N.Y. -- Ernest Darity, of Beacon, died Saturday, Dec. 19, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. He was 72.
Born June 25, 1943, in Philadelphia, Pa., he was a chef and worked in restaurants and on cruise ships.
He was an ordained minister at New Vision Church of Deliverance Inc. and the head of the Addiction Recovery Ministry, A.R.M.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Sunday at New Vision Church, 831 Route 52, Fishkill.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Scholarship Fund Minister Ernest Darity, New Vision Church, 831 Route 52, Fishkill.
