Set for 7-10 p.m. Sept. 1, the annual event features dancing instruction from Brandon Zahorsky and music by CJ the DJ on the new car lot at Poughkeepsie Nissan, 1445 Route 9 . In addition to dancing, there will be refreshments and snacks available.
Poughkeepsie Nissan officials said any and all donations collected at the event go to support Staatsburg-based Anderson Center for Autism, a resource and treatment center for individuals and families affected by autism.
"There is great lighting, a fun crowd and lots of room for dancing. All donations made go directly to our friends at Anderson Center for Autism,” said Jonathan Kellerman of Poughkeepsie Nissan.
Anderson Center officials said they are glad for the support.
"We hope to see lots of friends of Anderson Center for Autism out dancing for our great cause," said Kelly Dooley, public relations and marketing manager at Anderson.
