Fatal Crash: Hudson Valley Woman Pulling Out Of Driveway Hit By Truck A Hudson Valley woman backing out of her driveway was hit and killed by a truck. The deadly crash took place in Dutchess County around 9:40 a.m. on Route 55 in the Dover hamlet of Wingdale.  A preliminary investigation has revealed that a 2011 Mazda 3 sedan driven by Valerie G. Parsons, age 80, of Wingdale, was entering Route 55 from a private driveway when it was struck by a 2015 Kenworth truck traveling eastbound on Route 55, said Capt.
