Police: School Employee In NYC Tried To Lure Child To Hudson Valley Hotel A Brooklyn man who works for a Manhattan elementary school was charged with trying to lure a teenager to a Hudson Valley hotel for sex, state police’s Troop F Child Abuse Unit in Sullivan County said on Friday, March 16. Abraham Silverberg, 51, an employee at Public School 116, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with third-degree attempted rape and luring a child, both felonies, police said.  Silverberg also was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
