There will be a new traffic pattern on a busy Hudson Valley roadway that could potentially cause delays for several months as crews get set to begin construction work in the region. The 20-year-old unidentified Dutchess County man from Pawling was arrested on Tuesday, Nov. 9, following the stop by Carmel Police in Putnam County. An officer directing traffic was rushed to the hospital after being struck by SUV on a busy stretch of Route 6. The incident happened around 7:38 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14 in Mahopac.
