Bobcat Sighting Results In Police Response At School In Hudson Valley A bobcat sighting reported by staff resulted in a police response at a school in the region. The incident happened in Northern Westchester County on Wednesday, Nov. 8 just before 3 p.m., when staff members at the Coman Hill Elementary School at 558 Bedford Rd. (Route 22) reported a possible bobcat that was seen behind the building, according to North Castle Police. Officers then responded to the school and checked the grounds and surrounding area for a bobcat. The crash took place on Route 22 in Dutchess County on Sunday, Sept. 4 in the town of Dover near Kitchen Corners Road. An investigation determined Rodney J. Officials Announce Upcoming 2-Week Road Closure In Hudson Valley State officials issued an alert about an upcoming two-week-long road closure in Northern Westchester. Route 128 is set to close between Sands Mill Road and Wampus Lakes Drive in North Castle beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 19, the New York State Department of Transportation announced. The road closure, which is being implemented to facilitate a culvert replacement, will last through Monday, Oct. 3, officials said. Motorists should follow the posted detour using Route 117, Route 120, and Route 22 as an alternate, according to the announcement.

She received the prize as a single, lump-sum payment of $559,860 after required withholdings, NY Lottery said. The ticket was purchased at Carol’s Gift Shop, which is located at 3081 Route 22 in Dover Plains, the lottery said.

Man Found Dead Pinned Under Dodge Ram In Hudson Valley An investigation is underway after a 58-year-old Fairfield County man was found dead underneath a pickup truck in Dutchess County. New York State Police troopers responded to a 911 dispatch of a man pinned under a vehicle on Route 22 in the town of Pawling on Friday, June 1 just before 8 a.m.  James C.
