Fatal Shooting: Man Found Shot In Parking Lot At Rockland Apartment Complex A 33-year-old man was found shot dead in the parking lot of a Hudson Valley apartment complex. The incident took place in Rockland County around 7 p.m., Sunday, March 5, in Pomona at the Manors Apartments Complex. Police responded to the complex located at 229 Route 202 after receiving calls of shots fired and found Eric Quinones, of Pomona, in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds, said Capt. John Gould, of the Haverstraw Police. Officers rendered aid to Quinones and he was transported to Nyack hospital and was pronounced dead, Gould said.  A suspect has not been arreste…

In the earlier holdup, the robber held up a Chase Bank branch in the Pacesetter Shopping Center on Route 202 in Pomona on Jan. 24 while carrying a box that he claimed contained explosives, the FBI said. Three Area Businesses Cited For Selling Alcohol To Minors Three businesses were cited for the sale of alcohol to minors in a compliance check conducted by the Ramapo Police Department, in conjunction with the Rockland County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, on Thursday, Dec. 20. An undercover agent under 21 years old, the legal drinking age, attempted to purchase alcohol from businesses throughout the town without providing identification.
