Woman Attempting To Cross Area Roadway Struck, Killed By Vehicle, Police Say A woman was killed while attempting to cross a roadway in the region, according to authorities. The incident happened around 6:35 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14 in Dutchess County on Route 9 at Clove Road in the Town of Fishkill. Man Stabs Mother, Kills Pedestrian In Hit-Run Crash While Fleeing, Police Say A man who allegedly stabbed his mother and then killed a pedestrian in a fatal hit-and-run crash in the area has been apprehended. Orange County Man Killed After Crashing Pickup Truck Into Building An Orange County man was killed during a single-vehicle crash in which the pickup truck plowed through the front of a building after the driver possibly suffered a medical emergency. The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office said Don A. Tuangtuang, 62, of Newburgh, was killed around 5:30 p.m. Thursday on Main Street in the Village of Fishkill, said Capt. John Watterson.
