These Hudson Valley Counties Rank Among State's Fastest Growing, New Report Says The Hudson Valley is among the fastest-growing regions in New York while the nation’s population is growing at the slowest rate in a century, according to a new report. Using data from the US Census Bureau, Stacker compiled a list of the 30 fastest growing counties in New York between 2010 and 2019, which included four from the Hudson Valley.

These Area Villages Are Among Fastest-Growing In Upstate NY The Hudson Valley is home to some of New York’s fastest growing villages, according to a new report. Citing data according to the latest Census population estimates, New York Upstate determined the 50 cities and villages that have seen the most growth between 2010 and 2018. The report only includes restaurants from upstate - which is considered by the website to be areas north of Westchester and Rockland counties - in the rankings. This Hudson Valley County Is Third-Fastest Growing Statewide, Census Says Dutchess enjoyed population gains between 2016 and 2017, according to the latest U.S. Census Bureau estimates. Dutchess County had the biggest net migration increase in the Hudson Valley region, with about 1,000 more people moving in than leaving the county last year. That made Dutchess the third-fastest growing county of New York's 62 counties. And now, its popular county executive, Marc Molinaro, is running for governor this year, challenging Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
