Man Arrested For Allegedly Throwing Woman To Ground In Area
A 21-year-old man was arrested after allegedly throwing a woman to the ground and damaging property during an altercation in Stony Point. Paul Bennett, of Tomkins Cove, was arrested on Jan. 22 after Stony Point Police responded to a home on Walter Drive for a report of an unruly man, said Stony Point Police Lt. Daniel J. Hylas. When police arrived on the scene they found Bennett had an altercation with a woman and during the fight, he allegedly damaged property and threw the victim to the ground, Hylas said.
