Area Tour Company Founder Indicted On Federal Child Porn Trafficking Charges
The founder of a nature tour company operating from the Jersey Shore north to Poughkeepsie and southern Connecticut was found with 6,800 photos and 120 videos of child sexual abuse, an indictment returned by a federal grand jury alleges. Federal Homeland Security agents arrested Vaughn Tiedeman, 46, of Living Adventure Tours, in February on distributing child pornography charges. Wayne Man Who Brought Dead Dog To Animal Hospital Charged With Cruelty
A Wayne man who brought a dead dog to an animal hospital was arrested Tuesday on cruelty charges, authorities announced. Wayne police responding to Knox Terrace on May 31 were told that Craig J. Lam, 37, took the dog to the Fairfield Animal Emergency Hospital. The officers “were advised by the staff of the Fairfield Animal Emergency Hospital that the dog had arrived deceased,” Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Man Arrested In Connection With Fatal Hit-Run Greenwood Lake Boat Crash
A 44-year-old Paramus man was arrested Thursday morning for a 2016 hit-and-run boat crash that killed a 72-year-old West Milford man, authorities said. Shawn Kelly was charged with assault and leaving the scene of a boating accident, the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office said in a statement. Former Mahwah HS Art Teacher Charged With Having Sex With Student
A former Mahwah High School art teacher was charged with having sex with an underage student there. Joshua Green, 33, of Clifton, was charged with sexual assault, official misconduct and child endangerment. A Superior Court judge in Paterson freed him, pending further court action, after a detention hearing Thursday afternoon. The teen was a 17-year-old student at Mahwah High School when at least one of two incidents occurred at Green's home in 2015, authorities said.
