Two Shot Multiple Times In Orange County Incident Two men were found shot after police responded to a "shot spotter" notification in Orange County. The incident took place around 2:30 a.m, Thursday, Dec. 19, when the City of Newburgh Police received the notification of gunshots in the area of City Terrace, said Lt. Joseph Burns. When officers arrived on the scene, they found Tykeith Stevenson, 31, of Newburgh, who sustained several gunshot wounds, Burns said. Orange County Shooting Victim Being Uncooperative With Police A 27-year-old man who was shot in the leg is allegedly being uncooperative with police. The shooting incident came to light in Orange County around 8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 11, when the City of Newburgh police received a Shot Spotter notification on Lander Street, said Det. Lt. Joseph Burns. When officers arrived on the scene they found Kevin Garcia, 27, of the City of Newburgh, who had a gunshot wound to his left leg, Burns said. City Of Newburgh Man In Critical Condition Following Shooting, Police Say A 26-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in the hip and neck in the City of Newburgh. Police detected the shooting around 7:48 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 1, after receiving a Shot Spotter activation for the area of 143 N. Miller Street, said City of Newburgh Police Det. Sgt. Joseph Burns. When officers arrived on scene they were told Jordan Myles, of Newburgh, had been shot and had transported by a vehicle to St. Luke’s Hospital, Burns said.
