The incident took place in Orange County in the City of Port Jervis on Thursday, Sept. 7. According to Port Jervis Police Chief William Worden, Damarion D. Gulley, age 22, hometown unknown, of Rockland County, was arrested on Monday, Sept. 18, for the crime that took place on an MTA platform in Port Jervis. ID Released For 47-Year-Old Struck, Killed By Train In Rockland County Officials have released the identity of a person hit and killed by an MTA train in the Hudson Valley. Rockland County resident Victor Reinoso, age 47 of Haverstraw, was killed around 9:55 p.m., Monday, July 24, east of Dutch Lane in Spring Valley, according to a spokesman with the Metropolitan Transporation Authority. Person Hit, Killed By Train In Rockland County A person was hit and killed by an MTA train in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Rockland County around 9:55 p.m., Monday, July 24, east of Dutch Lane in Spring Valley, according to a spokesman with the Metropolitan Transporation Authority. The unidentified person was on the tracks at the time of the incident, the MTA said. The victim was transported to an area hospital where the person later died. Person Struck, Killed By MTA Train In Area One person was killed after being struck by a Metro-North train in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 6:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1 near Dover Furnace Road in Dover Plains on Metro-North's Harlem Wassaic Branch. An individual who made contact with a train is deceased, MTA officials said. The MTA Police Department was notified and responded to conduct an investigation. Person Struck By Train In Hudson Valley A person was injured after being struck by an MTA train in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Rockland County around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27 in Spring Valley. According to MTA officials, the person was struck by a train departing Spring Valley Station at the Dutch Lane crossing. Service on the Pascack Valley Line is suspended in both directions between Spring Valley and Nanuet, officials said. Long Island residents Vincent Abolafia, and his girlfriend, Kaileigh Catalano, both age 15 and of Manorville in Suffolk County, were last seen at the Ronkonkoma train station on Thursday, Dec. 9 with the intention of boarding the 3:11 p.m. train to Manhattan, Suffolk County Police said. On Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 14, the Suffolk County PD said the two "were located, unharmed, in Manhattan today." The NYPD and MTA Police Department assisted in the investigation.

Train Strikes Car On Tracks In Rockland A driver was able to escape before a car on the tracks was struck by a train early Sunday afternoon in Rockland County. At about 1:30 p.m., the New Jersey transit train traveling to Spring Valley struck the car at the New Clarkstown Road crossing in Nanuet. The vehicle was sitting in traffic, on the tracks, when the railroad crossing gates began to come down as the train was approaching the crossing, Clarkstown Police said.
