Warwick Woman Accused Of Bringing Loaded Gun To School Due In Court The former teacher’s aide who brought a gun into a Rockland County school is due to appear in court. Warwick resident Gillian Jeffords, a former teacher’s aide at the Jesse J. Kaplan School in West Nyack, is scheduled to appear in court in New City on Monday, after being charged with a felony count of criminal possession of a weapon earlier this year. Jeffords, 24, was arrested on March 28, when another employee noticed a handbag that contained a handgun and contacted police.
