31-Year-Old Charged After Half-Kilo Of Cocaine Seized On Taconic Parkway A 31-year-old man was allegedly nabbed with a half-kilo of cocaine during a traffic stop in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 2 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 11 on the Taconic Parkway in East Fishkill when New York State Police stopped the driver for traffic violations. Berkshire County, Massachusetts resident Brandon M. Green, age 31, of Pittsfield, was stopped in a 2020 Toyota sedan, said Trooper AJ Hicks. During the stop, troopers found that Green was driving while ability impaired by drugs and during a search of the vehicle uncovered a half-kilogram of cocaine…

Man Nabbed For DWI/Drugs Following Wrong-Way Crash, Police Say A 34-year-old man has been arrested for alleged DWI/Drugs following a wrong-way driving crash in the area. Jason Miles, of Ancramdale in Columbia County, was arrested on Thursday, March 25, following a three-vehicle crash in the Town of Poughkeepsie in which one of the cars rolled over, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Capt. Joseph. Cavaliere.  According to Cavaliere, officers responded to the crash in the area of Haight and Raymond avenues and found that Miles was driving his vehicle westbound in the eastbound lane of traffic on Haight Avenue when he collided with two other vehicles. …

Orange County Man Arrested For DWI/Drugs After Stop For Headlight Violation An Orange County man was arrested for DWI/Drugs after being stopped by police for a headlight violation. The 30-year-old Warwick man was arrested around 10:20 p.m., Monday, Dec. 14, after being stopped by a Ramapo Police officer for a headlight violation on Orange Turnpike in the Village of Sloatsburg.  During the stop, the officer detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle as he approached to speak with the driver, police said. Man Charged With Dwai After Rollover Rockland Crash A man was arrested for DWI/Drugs after crashing his vehicle in Rockland County. The incident took place on Saturday, Dec. 12, on Summit Park Road when the unidentified man rolled his vehicle, Ramapo Police said. The man was taken to Nyack Hospital to be treated for injuries sustained from the crash.  The department was assisted on scene by Spring Hill Ambulance and Town of Ramapo Highway Department.
