A Hudson Valley man who told police he had been shot, was arrested after police found he had been cut while punching in a window during a dispute. The incident took place in Rockland County around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7 in Stony Point. According to Lt. Greg Becker of the Stony Point Police, Justin Bass, age 43, of Stony Point, called Haverstraw Police to report that he had been shot in the arm by a small caliber rifle. One Hospitalized After Assault At Grocery Store In Area
One person was seriously wounded after being stabbed during a dispute in front of a Hudson Valley grocery store. The incident took place in Dutchess County in the City of Poughkeepsie around 1:10 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, Police responded to the Market Fresh store at 534 Main St., after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting a fight, said Det. Lt. Matt Clark, of the city of Poughkeepsie Police. Responding officers found a 28-year-old man with stab wounds to his abdomen, Clark said. Worker Killed During Shooting At Bar In Hudson Valley
One worker has died after a shooting following a dispute at a bar in Westchester. The incident happened shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 6 at the Duo Tapas Bar and Lounge on Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers. A dispute at the bar escalated into violence when a "perpetrator fired several handgun shots into the vestibule of the building, striking two male employees," Yonkers Police said.
