Police Locate Missing 12-Year-Old Hudson Valley Boy A Hudson Valley boy who was missing for a day has been located by police in a hospital waiting room. Jordan Acres, 12, of Kingston went missing about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday when he was last seen near the Boys & Girls Club, said Kingston Police. Police found the boy about 24 hours later at the Kingston Hospital waiting room trying to stay warm, said Det. Lt. Thierry Croizer. "He wanted to spend time with friends and then looked for a warm spot to stay," Croizer said. The boy was afraid he would get in trouble, and wasn't a runaway, police said.

Orange County Man Accused Of Stealing 15 MacBooks Pleads Guilty An Orange County man pleaded guilty last week to stealing 15 MacBook Air laptops from the Boys & Girls Club in Newburgh. Marshall Henry, 25, pleaded guilty Thursday, Jan. 11, to one count of felony grand larceny for stealing the laptops from the non-profit over a period in April 2017, said Orange County Chief Assistant District Attorney Christopher Borek. Henry, of Newburgh, made the plea in exchange for a recommended sentence of six months in jail and five years of probation, along with full restitution for the cost of the laptops, Borek said.
