Orange County Man Admits To Slashing Victim In Face Outside Bar, DA Says A 27-year-old man pleaded guilty to assault in connection with a slashing of a man outside an area bar. Barry Cooper,  of Middletown, pleaded guilty on Thursday, Nov. 21, in connection with Sept. 21, slashing of a man outside of a bar in the Town of Wallkill, said the Orange County District Attorney's Office.  At the time Cooper pleaded guilty, he admitted having slashed the victim in the face with a sharp-edged object at about 3:30 a.m., outside a closed bar on Route 211, the DA's Office said. Man Charged In Connection To Stabbing At Orange County Nightclub A 26-year-old man is behind bars after being charged in connection with a stabbing at an area nightclub. On Saturday, Sept. 21, at approximately 3:20 a.m., New York State Police and the Town of Wallkill Police Department responded to VYBZE, a nightclub located 360 Route 211 West in the town of Wallkill for a report of an assault, state police said. Responding patrols located a man with a large laceration to the right side of his head, according to police.
