Two Members Of Monroe's Police Force Promoted

MONROE, N.Y. – Two members of the Monroe Police Department were promoted on Monday.

Detective Patrick Tenaglia was promoted to the rank of Sergeant. Tenaglia began his law enforcement career in 2006 with the Orange County Sheriff's Office. In 2008, Sergeant Tenaglia transferred to the Monroe Police Department and was promoted to Detective on 2013.  

Prior to beginning his law enforcement career, Sergeant Tenaglia served in the United States Army, reaching the rank of Staff Sgt. before his Honorable Discharge in 2004.

Officer Luke Fremgen was promoted to the rank of Detective. Fremgen began his law enforcement career in 2009 as a part-time police officer with the Town of Montgomery Police Department. In 2012, he transferred to the Village of Chester Police Department, where he began serving as a full-time police officer. Fremgen transferred to the Monroe Police Department in 2013.
