The family of a 21-year-old Manhattanville College student scolded the drunk driver who struck and killed their son in court at her sentencing on Wednesday. The family of a Dobbs Ferry man who was killed by a car driven by an intoxicated off-duty New Rochelle police officer has filed a lawsuit against the officer and three Westchester bars that the two frequented before the fatal crash. WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - An off-duty New Rochelle police officer who was drinking before he crashed his vehicle last year, killing his best friend, has been sentenced for his role in the fatal incident.
