Crash Causes Lengthy Delays On I-684
This story has been updated. There were hour-long delays on southbound I-684 on Wednesday morning after a crash that blocked the left lane near the Northern Westchester/Putnam border. The crash at Hardscrabble Road (Exit 8) in North Salem resulted in stopped traffic at the scene at 9:30 a.m., and gridlock to I-84 (Exit 9). The lane reopened around 10:30 a.m.

Motorists planning on traveling on the Merritt Parkway in Fairfield and Westport may see delays and detours for more than a year as overnight closures are scheduled as construction activity ramps up for the summer season. Route 117 Closure Scheduled During Roadwork
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - Motorists planning on traveling on Route 117 in Mount Pleasant over the weekend can expect delays as contracting crews complete work in the area. The New York State Department of Transportation issued an alert cautioning that beginning at 7 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 19, Route 117 will be closed between Route 9 and Route 448, extending through the following day, as crews perform permit activities. During the closure, there will be flaggers in the area to direct traffic and detour signage posted.
