Employee Embezzled Money, Stole Items From Hudson Valley Business, Police Say A 64-year-old woman is facing charges after allegedly embezzling money and stealing items from a business in the region, authorities said. Saratoga County resident Sandra Berliner, of Malta, was arrested Tuesday, Feb. 21 on multiple counts of grand larceny and falsifying business records, according to State Police.
