Suspect Arrested In Connection With Westchester Shooting A man was taken into federal custody following an investigation into a shooting that sent one person to the hospital last year. Calvin Smith Jr. was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 14, on a warrant charging him with being a felon in possession of a firearm, according to the Greenburgh Police Department. Man With Drugs, Stolen Gun Overdoses During Northern Westchester Chase, Police Say A convicted felon nearly died from an overdose after taking New York State Police troopers on a high-speed chase through Northern Westchester. Troopers from the Cortlandt barracks and the FBI's’ Safe Streets Task Force attempted to stop Brooklyn resident Patrick Williams, 31, at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Route 9 in Cortlandt, when he committed a vehicle and traffic violation.
