Two Men In Van Steal ATM From The Trumbull Mall TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Two suspects dressed in dark-colored clothing and ski masks made off with an ATM in a brazen daytime robbery Thursday morning at the Westfield Trumbull Mall, police said.At about 9 a.m., the two men pulled up in a dark maroon or burgundy mini-van, possibly with New York plates, and drove up onto the north sidewalk entrance to the mall adjacent to the doors near Macy's and JC Penny Department stores, according to police. Stamford Police Seek Help In Finding Man Who Stole Car From Dealership STAMFORD, Conn. -- Police are seeking the public's help in finding a man who is suspected of stealing a car from a Ford dealership in Stamford.According to a post on the Stamford Police Department's Facebook page, a car that was stolen from the Stamford Ford dealership in September was recently found in a mall parking lot in New Jersey. Three-Alarm Fire Heavily Damages Stamford Condo Complex STAMFORD, Conn. -- A three-alarm fire that broke out Wednesday evening heavily damaged the Waterside Green condo complex in Stamford, the Stamford Fire Department said via Twitter. Former New Canaan Man Gets 33 Months For Defrauding Investors Of $1.3M NEW CANAAN, Conn. — A former New Canaan man was sentenced Wednesday to 33 months in federal prison for defrauding investors of more than $1.3 million, prosecutors said.John B. Jeffrey, also known as Tucker Jeffrey, 49, of Denver, was also sentenced by U.S. District Judge Victor A. Easton Family Seeks Help After Car Crash Leaves Teen Paralyzed EASTON, Conn. -- With each day, 17-year-old Zach Standen of Easton is gathering strength and getting one step closer toward his goal of walking again. Zach was injured in a car accident on June 26 that left him paralyzed from the waist down. A GoFundMe page has been set up to help his family is cover medical expenses as a result of the accident.
