SOMERS, N.Y. -- Somers High School soccer player Will Bennett was named the New York Player of the Week by MaxPreps/NSCAA after scoring five goals in two games last week.
Bennett scored two goals in a 2-0 win over Pleasantville and added four more in a 6-1 over Carmel. Bennett has 11 goals on the season for the Huskers (10-4-2).
