SOMERS, N.Y. -- Police are in search of a man who fled on foot after robbing the Chase Bank in the Somers Commons Shopping Center in Baldwin Place Tuesday afternoon.
The alleged suspect in the 3:30 p.m. robbery is a light-skinned white male in his mid 30s with a slender build, who is unshaven, with poor oral hygiene, according to state police.
The alleged suspect was wearing what appeared to be a black adidas wind jacket with white stripes down the sleeves, dark colored footwear and a baseball cap, police said. It is unknown what direction he fled.
