SOMERS, N.Y. Peter M. Muir, 24, of Lincolndale was arraigned at Somers Town Court after New York State Police said he was found in possession of approximately 1½ ounces of heroin, a hypodermic needle and some Xanax.
Muir was a passenger in a car that was stopped for a traffic violation on Route 202 and Heritage Hills Drive on Monday at about 11 p.m., police said. He was arraigned on a charge of seventh degree possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and third degree possession with the intent to sell, a felony.
Muir was remanded without bail to Westchester County Jail and is scheduled to reappear in court on May 16 at 5:30 p.m.
