SOMERS, N.Y. Josephine N. Cavallo, 74, of Somers died Wednesday, April 11, at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, N.Y.
Cavallo was born Dec. 22, 1937, in Brooklyn to Nicholas and Theresa (Coronati) Camera. She was a retired elementary school teacher for the New York City Department of Education.
She is survived by her husband of 41years, Dominick; two sons, Raymond (Anna Maria) and Robert (Margaret); and seven grandchildren. Cavallo was predeceased by a brother, Anthony Camera.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 14, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Clark Associates Funeral Home in Katonah. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Church in Croton Falls. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Mount Pleasant.
