Baumler Fundraiser: 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Play baseball, basketball or dodgeball to help rebuild the Baumler home destroyed in Superstorm Sandy. Cash or check donations can be made at the door. All proceeds go directly to the Baumler family. The event takes place at Frozen Ropes, 69 Kenosia Ave., Danbury, Conn.

Somers Board of Education Meeting: 7 p.m. The board will meet in the library of the Somers Middle School, 250 Route 202, Somers.
Wednesday, Jan. 23
Somers Rotary Club: 6:45 p.m. The Somers Rotary Club meets on the first, second and fourth Wednesday of each month. The speaker on Wednesday evening is David DelMonte of the New York Rotary Club. The meeting is at Somerfields Restaurant in the Somers Towne Center (Routes 100 and 202), Somers.
SEF Variety Show Tech Rehearsal: 7 p.m. The Somers Education Foundation Variety Show Tech Rehearsal takes place in the auditorium of the Somers Middle School, 250 Route 202, Somers. The show itself is on Jan. 25 at 7 p.m.
Somers SEPTA Council: 7:30 p.m. The group will meet in the library of the Somers Intermediate School, 240 Route 202 Somers.
Thursday, Jan. 24
At the Somers Library: Toddler Story Time is at 10:30 a.m. followed by Preschool Story Time at 1 p.m. and 4th- and 5th-Grade Boys Book Club at 3:45 p.m. The Somers Library is on Route 139/Primrose St. in Reis Park.
