Olga was born in Stamford on August 19, 1949, to the late Angelo and Tessie Karas. She lived her whole life in Stamford, where she grew up with her brother Deno, graduated from Stamford High School, married her husband Dimitrios (Jimmy) Kapakos, and raised her two sons, George Kapakos (Sandra) of Scottsdale, AZ, and Angelo Kapakos (Donna) of Stratford, CT. NY Man Admits To Multi-Million Dollar Scheme A 74-year-old New York man has pleaded guilty to a charge related to a multi-million dollar mass-mailing scheme that tricked victims into paying fees for falsely-promised cash prizes. Long Island resident Carmine Maietta, of Westbury, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit mail fraud on Wednesday, Jan. 26, according to Breon Peace, the United States attorney for the Eastern District of New York. From November 2013 through November 2018, Maietta was part of a scheme to mail false prize notifications to thousands of people, urging them to pay a fee in return for a large cash prize, …

Hastings is predeceased by two husbands, William Hastings (1923-1994) whom she married on October 24, 1953 in Yonkers, and Earl Terp (1927-2016) whom she married February 10, 2010 in Tucson, AZ.
