Lowe’s Looks To Hire 100 Employees For New Store In Westchester The new Lowe’s Home Improvement store set to open this spring in Yorktown is looking for quality employees to help fill its ranks. Lowe’s started a two-day hiring event in Yorktown on Thursday, Feb. 21 in which it interviewed and met prospective employees. They are looking everything from cashiers and stockers to customer service specialists and supervisors. Prospective employees must first apply for their desired positions online, and if they make it to the second round, they will be interviewed by a company HR representative. Second Lowe's Store In Westchester Scheduled To Open Westchester will enjoy a second Lowe's Home Improvement store by early next year, according to the developer. The county's other Lowe's store is in Ridge Hill Shopping Center in Yonkers. The developer of a Yorktown Lowe’s home improvement store said it's slated to open next year at 3200 Old Crompond Road.
