SCARSDALE, N.Y. --- Josh Fisher's favorite story about his Leap Year Day birthday is when he turned 21 and had to wait until midnight of March 1 to be served a cocktail.

Being born on a Leap Year day has always been a topic of conversation, he said, with the most common question being: "What day do you celebrate on?"

The Scarsdale resident's answer? "Whatever day my wife says."

All joking aside, over the years he'd pick Feb. 28 or March 1 depending on the day it would fall on. "My grandmother's birthday was Feb. 28 so I usually picked the first," he said.

This year, however, he's celebrating in Florida on his real day of Feb. 29, which just happens to be his 40th birthday though, technically, he added, "I'm not even old enough for my bar mitzvah."
