Restaurant In Region License Suspended For Selling To Underage Drinkers, Authorities Say The license of a popular restaurant in the region has been suspended for allegedly selling alcohol to minors. Ulster County's P&G Restaurant at 91 Main St., in New Paltz license was suspended on Thursday, March 31 by the State Liquor Authority (SLA) following a visit on Friday, March 15. During the visit, investigators from the SLA, New York State Department of Motor Vehicles, and the Ulster County Sheriff's Office conducted a compliance inspection following numerous complaints of underage drinking. Popular Saratoga Springs Bar Ordered To Close, Report Says A popular bar in the Capital District has been ordered to shut down over licensing issues, CBS 6 reports. Gaffney’s in Saratoga Springs received a notice of violation Monday, May 2, ordering it to cease operations immediately until the owners obtain the proper food and beverage license, the outlet reports. It’s unclear when the bar will reopen. CBS 6 reports that Gaffney’s has faced previous trouble with the State Liquor Authority following a string of incidents at the bar, including a reported stabbing.
