Capital Region Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing 5-Year-Old Enters Plea A man from the region accused of sexually abusing a young child has formally answered to the charges against him. Albany County resident John Ferrara, age 54, of Fuera Bush, pleaded not guilty to a felony count of predatory sexual assault of a child in Albany County Supreme Court Monday, Oct. 24. Prosecutors said between February 2016 and June 2018, Ferrara engaged in sexual conduct against a girl who was between the ages of 5 and 8 at the time.
