Woman Drives Over Victim, Flees During Altercation In Hadley, Police Say A 58-year-old woman is facing charges after allegedly hitting a victim with her car and then fleeing during an altercation in the region. Saratoga County resident Thon Baker, of Lake Luzerne, was arrested Wednesday, Aug. 2, on assault and other charges, according to New York State Police. Hadley Man Nabbed For DWI Twice In Same Day, Police Say A man from the Capital Region was arrested not once, but twice in the same day for allegedly driving while intoxicated, authorities said. State Police in Saratoga County were called at around 9:15 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, with reports of a pickup truck off the roadway in Corinth, on Wilton Mountain Road. Man Killed After Vehicle Crashes Down Embankment Into River In Hadley A man is dead after crashing his car into a river in the region. New York State Police said the man was driving in Saratoga County southbound on Old Corinth Road in Hadley at around 8 p.m. Sunday, April 24, when he drove down the steep embankment and landed in the Sacandaga River. Troopers found the vehicle upside down and submerged in the river, police said. Divers from the Corinth Fire Department were able to free the man, but he was later pronounced dead at Glen Falls Hospital.
