Brent Carter, of Las Vegas, pleaded guilty to conveying a hoax and false information in federal court in Albany Friday, Jan. 13. Wanted Capital Region Driver With Gun Pepper-Sprayed After Running From Traffic Stop: Police An Albany man wanted out of several jurisdictions tried to run from police after they stopped his car on a roadway in New Jersey and found him carrying a gun, authorities said. Ammar Ali, 33, was driving a 2002 Honda Civic that was stopped in Bergen County on the southbound Palisades Interstate Parkway in Alpine shortly after 1 a.m. Monday, Jan. 2, PIP Police Lt. Raymond E.
