Crashes on I-95 and I-287 caused motorists delays Friday during the evening commute.

A crash that took out the left lane resulted in stop-and-go delays on southbound I-95 near the Port Chester/Greenwich border. The crash, reported just before 5 p.m., was at Exit 2 (Delavan Avenue) with the delays to Route 1 (Exit 9). It was cleared by 6 p.m.

The I-287 crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. eastbound at Exit 5 (Routes 119/100) with delays to I-87.
