The Northeast is well-represented in new rankings of the 100 most expensive zip codes in the nation.
Two of the top 10 zip codes according to Property Shark Real Estate Reports are in New York, with both on Long Island, in the Hamptons:
No. 2 Sagaponack (zip code 11962) with a median home sale price in 2023 of $8,075,000,
No. 6 (tie) Water Mill (11976) with a median home sale price in 2023 of $4,500,000.

19-Year-Old Wearing Wig, Makeup Robs Greenwich Tiffany Store At Gunpoint
An armed teenage man wearing a wig and makeup robbed a high-end jewelry store in Fairfield County of $175,000 in merchandise before being caught by police.
The robbery took place in Greenwich at Tiffany & Co. around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28.
According to Greenwich Police, the man, identified as Edgardo Bautista-Gallardo, age 19, of San Fransico, California, entered the store at 140 Greenwich Ave. and requested to see jewelry from store associates.

Target To Close Stores In 4 States, Including NY, Citing Theft, Organized Retail Crime
Citing incidents involving violence and theft, Target announced it is closing nine stores in four states, including one in New York.
The New York store is in Manhattan, at 517 E 117th St.
Three other stores are in California, in the San Francisco/Oakland market, and three in Oregon, in Portland.
The other two stores are in Seattle, Washington.

A significant percentage of residents living in the Metro New York area have had COVID-19, according to a newly released study.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) teamed with commercial laboratories to find those who have tested positive for the virus in 10 specifically targeted regions.
Regions included in the survey: Connecticut, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco, South Florida, Utah, and Western Washington State.
