The incident happened on Friday, May 24 around 6:30 p.m. on Boston Post Road (Route 1) in the area of Playland Parkway in the city of Rye, officials said. According to city officials, Rye firefighters arrived at the scene within minutes and found that a vehicle had flipped on its side with a driver stuck inside.
