Milford Man Brandishes Tool From Lowe's While Robbing More Than $400 Worth Of Items, Police Say A 35-year-old man was charged with robbery after allegedly stealing $447 worth of tools from Lowe's in Connecticut. Police in New Haven County reported responding to the robbery at the store, located at 311 Old Gate Lane in Milford, on Monday, Dec. 19. The Milford Police Department said Antonio Madden, of Milford, entered the store at about 2:30 p.m. on Monday and placed multiple tools in a shopping cart. More Than 660K Washing Machines Recalled Due To Fire Hazard A company is recalling 663,500 washing machines after receiving reports of the machines overheating and causing fires. Samsung issued the recall of "Top-Load Washing Machines" on Thursday, Dec. 22, because the products could short-circuit and overheat. 3 Men Wanted For Stealing ATV, Motorcycle Parts In North Babylon, Police Say Authorities are searching for three men who are wanted for stealing an ATV, motorcycle parts, and tires from a property on Long Island. The men burglarized a shed and garage on a North Babylon residential property, located on Rutledge Avenue, at about 3 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4, Suffolk County Crime Stoppers reported on Monday, Dec. 12. Authorities said the ATV that was stolen is a 1987 Banshee quad. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest. Man Who Robbed Bellport Deli Remains At Large, Police Say Authorities asked the public for help locating a man who robbed a Long Island deli earlier this year. 3 People Hospitalized After Fire Breaks Out At Farmingdale Home Three people were taken to a hospital after a fire broke out at a Long Island home. Police reported that the incident happened in Farmingdale at about 7 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24.
