More Than 660K Washing Machines Recalled Due To Fire Hazard A company is recalling 663,500 washing machines after receiving reports of the machines overheating and causing fires.  Samsung issued the recall of "Top-Load Washing Machines" on Thursday, Dec. 22, because the products could short-circuit and overheat. 3 Men Wanted For Stealing ATV, Motorcycle Parts In North Babylon, Police Say Authorities are searching for three men who are wanted for stealing an ATV, motorcycle parts, and tires from a property on Long Island. The men burglarized a shed and garage on a North Babylon residential property, located on Rutledge Avenue, at about 3 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4, Suffolk County Crime Stoppers reported on Monday, Dec. 12. Authorities said the ATV that was stolen is a 1987 Banshee quad. 3 People Hospitalized After Fire Breaks Out At Farmingdale Home Three people were taken to a hospital after a fire broke out at a Long Island home. Police reported that the incident happened in Farmingdale at about 7 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24.
