Old Post Road Bridge in Rye Closed for Repairs

RYE, N.Y. ? The Old Post Road/North Street Bridge was to be closed in both directions starting Wednesday as the Westchester County Department of Public Works began to repair the bridge's infrastructure.

A nixle alert released by the City of Rye Police Department advises drivers to follow the posted detour route to merge onto I-95 and eventually I-287. The route diverts drivers up Playland Access Drive to Theodore Fremd Avenue before it works its way back to Old Post Road.
