RYE, N.Y. -- Although many historical buildings claim that George Washington slept there, Rye Square House Museum, at 1 Purchase Street, can confirm that George Washington slept there twice.
The historic museum will be hosting two upcoming events. On Feb. 27, 20 guests can come to Tavern Night at the Square House. People will be turning back the clock and cooking meals from that time period from 7 to 9 p.m.
On March 3, a spring luncheon and boutique event will be held from noon to 2:30 p.m. at the Square House by the American Yacht Club.
