Alex is located about 165 miles east-northeast of Fort Pierce, Florida, early Sunday morning, June 5. James L. Perkins of Port Chester, 83, Devoted Family Man, Greenwich Firefighter, Electrician James Lewis Perkins, 83, born to Frederick and Charlotte Lewis Perkins of Port Chester, died on Tuesday, Nov. 12  in Fort Pierce, Florida. He graduated from Port Chester High School in 1954 and married the former Dorothy Rennie in 1957. They were married for many years and have four daughters, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Jim became an electrician in 1960 after completing a five-year apprenticeship and was employed by the Port Chester Electric Company.
