HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- The Village of Hastings-on-Hudson Parks & Recreation Department is establishing a scholarship program for young Hastings residents who may be in need of financial assistance to attend summer camp.
According to Recreation Department Spokesperson Bryan Healy, the program is being established to help children attend programs such as Hillside Day Camp, who otherwise would not be able to afford it.
The department is seeking donations from both individuals and businesses. Those interested in donating or learning more about the program may contact Healy at bhealy@hastingsgov.org or 914-478-2380, ext. 600.
All donations are tax deductible.
