The show will open at 6 p.m. in the high school lobby. The show will continue during the school day on Tuesday, April, 29 and Wednesday, April 30. AP art students from Naomi Gilbert’s studio class and Marty Merchant’s photography class will mount an exhibition of portfolio work.

AP art students also will upload 24 images online. The 24 pieces will be displayed in two parts: "a section called Breadth, that showcases the wide range of media and visualization techniques and approaches, and a section called Concentration," according to the release.

"This year, most of the artwork will feature the Concentration section of the portfolio, which is comprised of 12 related works that demonstrate a student’s commitment to the thoughtful investigation of a specific visual idea," representatives said in a release. "Students have explored a personal, central interest as intensively as possible; they are free to work with any idea in any medium that addresses two-dimensional design issues."
