Football leads the way with varsity and junior varsity summer practices in all sports beginning on Aug. 19. Modified sports begin on Sept. 9.
To ensure that your child is able and ready to play their desired sport this Fall Season the following needs to be done:
Both the Emergency Information Card and the Health History Card must be completed by a parent within 30 days of the start of a new season - (which means that although your child was cleared for Spring Sports, your child must now do the same for Fall Sports). This is required by state law.
Varsity/Junior Varsity health cards must be dated on or after July 19.
Modified must be dated on or after Aug. 9. Submit an updated Physical Form (within the last 12 months from the beginning of the sports season). If an updated physical already resides with the school nurse, there is no need to re-submit another one. Forms must be submitted into the School Nurse, Beth Basha, no later than Aug. 2 for Varsity and Aug. 23 for Modified sports.
The paperwork will be reviewed for clearance by the school doctor. The student must be cleared by the school doctor before he/she can begin to play on the start date.
