ARDSLEY, N.Y. – The Village of Ardsley was highlighted in The New York Times as a suburban haven just 22 miles from New York City, with a mix of mostly one-family homes and above average schools.

Prices for one-family homes range from $499,000 to $1.499 million, the article said, with a mix of 1950 ranches and older Colonials to newer models, capes and split levels. The one-square-mile village of about 4,450 people is in the Town of Greenburgh.

According to the Times, there’s a lively business district and the real estate market is brisk; homes often sell within 30 days.
