Filming of the property recently took place, revealing kitchen, dining room and family room renovations completed specially for the show for an episode set to air in the spring of 2016.
Julia Brasesco, an agent with Julia B. Sotheby's InternationalRye brokerage, represented the buyers on the purchase of the home at 19 Rockinghorse Trail, which was sold at a price of $990,000.
The home was built in 1969 and includes four bedrooms, 2.5 baths and 3,138 square feet of living space, according to the property listing.
“Property Brothers” is a one hour reality show in which twin brothers Jonathan and Drew Scott help home buyers find, purchase and transform “fixer-uppers” into dream homes, while maintaining a strict budget. Each episode begins with the brothers showcasing a home that features everything on the future homeowner’s wish list, eventually leading them to homes that are more in their price range, but still have great potential to become their dream home.
The home has plenty of space and hardwood flooring. The kitchen contains granite counters and a breakfast area, which is adjacent to the family room. Large bay windows overlooking a well-kept backyard can be found in the residence’s spacious living room, while a formal dining room completes the main level. As a result of the show, the kitchen, dining room and family room were all completely renovated.
“The spectacular transformation of all three of these rooms made this home even more brilliant, adding to its already inviting atmosphere in the wonderful Westchester County neighborhood of Rye Brook.'' Brasesco said. "I am so excited for the buyers, who are now most definitely living in their dream home.”
